Effects observed in the ballistic-conductive model of heat conduction

In this paper, we study the behavior of solutions to the initial value problem in the framework of the ballistic-conductive (BC) model of heat conduction. As a result of the study, the effect of partial “immobilization” of thermal energy has been found. This effect is unphysical and is a defect of the BC model.
