Effective account of ionic surrounding influence on optical properties of metallic clusters within the jellium model

Abstract:
An influence of interparticle potential parameters on optical properties of metallic clusters is discussed in the article. Dependences of the static dipole polarisability and the plasmon resonance frequency of alkali metal clusters upon the screening parameter and the effective dielectric constant are studied.
