Fixed point theorems on orthogonal metric spaces via τ-distances

In this paper, we prove two fixed point theorems in the setting of orthogonal complete metric spaces via τ-distances. Our theorems generalize and improve many known results in the literature (see, for example Refs. [6, theorem 4.2] and [3, theorem 3]).
