Spectral diagnostics of the interstellar radiative shocks

Abstract:

A model of a radiative shock propagating through interstellar medium has been developed to study continuum and line emission produced in downstreams of such shocks. Being confronted with available observations of galactic supernova remnants, the computed spectra can help to reveal information about physical conditions in these objects.
