Abstract:

The magnetic properties of FeNi3(110) crystal surface with thin Fe film were studied by Spin-Polarized Auger Electron Spectroscopy (SPAES). Iron deposition onto the substrate surface lead to invar concentration of components on it. At given concentration the nickel surface sublattice exhibited antiferromagnetic ordering relative to the substrate volume.
