Local magnetic properties of metal surfaces obtained by spin-polarized Auger electron spectroscopy

The local magnetic properties of Fe3O4(110)-Bi h FeNi3(110)-Au surfaces were studied by spin polarized Auger electron spectroscopy (SPAES). The problems of magnetic moments of bivalent and trivalent ions of iron on the surface of Fe304 (110) crystal are discussed.
