Physical properties of matter under extremal conditions

Recent experimental investigations of non-ideal plasma (under strong particle interaction) by shock waves method are reviewed. Thermodynamic, transport and optical properties, composition, conductivity of collapsed matter are discussed. Physical effects of pressure ionization, plasma phase transitions, bound states deformation, plasma phototropic effects are considered.
