Abstract:

The mechanical deformation measurement technique for nonmagnetic materials has been proposed. To this end small magnetic dipole particles are embedded into the material and their magnetic fields are measured in some restricted number of points. Solving inverse problem enables to determine position and orientation of magnetic dipoles.
