      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>In the present paper, the theory of phononic crystals is generalized to the case of periodic media with anisotropic elastic properties, as well as to the PT-symmetric structures with gain and loss. An operator form of the equation for a stationary elastic wave in a crystal is proposed. A generalized condition of PT symmetry for systems with anisotropic elastic properties is obtained.</p>
