        <p>In this article, the planar structure of an avalanche photodiode based on Ge/Si is designed. The dependences of the gain and bandwidth on the bias voltage for different thicknesses of the absorption and multiplication layers of an avalanche photodiode based on Ge/Si are presented.</p>
