      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>The necessity of developing devices for express monitoring of the state of the liquid medium at the sampling site is substantiated. The criteria for express control methods are substantiated. A design of a small-sized NMR relaxometer for express monitoring of the state of the medium has been developed. Experimental data are presented. The results obtained on the proposed small-sized NMR relaxometer were compared with the values obtained on an
industrial NMR relaxometer.</p>
