        <p>An investigation of diffusive mass-transfer in the flat horizontal liquid layer is complicated by convective effects. We measured dye mass-transfer speed and found out that effective diffusivity is decreased proportionally to layer thickness. Convective mass-transfer is almost eliminated in 0.5 mm layer.</p>
