      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>Experimental results of photoluminescence in CdHgTe nanoheterostructures are presented. Calculations of size-quantization levels in CdHgTe with quantum wells were performed with account for the effect of nonparabolicity of the energy-versus-wave vector dependence. Our experiments confirmed possibility of observation optical transitions involving electrons and light holes in the quantum-well structures.</p>
