The mathematical deformation models and the algorithm of the elastic ribbed shells research accounting geometrical nonlinearity, shifting and bending rigidity of the ribs, and the transverse shifts are proposed. The examples of the solutions for the metal, organic-glass and concrete shells are given. The critical load for the elastic behavior of the material is estimated.
