Static dielectric polarization of methylcellulose in dilute dimethylacetamide and aqueous solutions has been investigated. Analysis of the influence of the temperature, nature of solvent and hydrogen bonds on dipole moments of methylcellulose has been carried out concerning the molecular structure and association.
