Abstract:

The results of calculating the temperature and electric potential in the sensitive element of a heat flux sensor based on a layered metal structure of chromel-alumel and copper- nickel pairs in a stationary thermal regime using a two-dimensional and one-dimensional model are presented. The influence of the effective thermal conductivity of the structure on the temperature distribution and the generated thermoelectric power is shown. The possibility of using a  one-dimensional homogeneous model with effective properties for describing thermal and thermoelectric processes in the sensitive element of the sensor is considered.
