The concept of the origin of thermal flares on the Sun

Abstract:

The paper formulates the main items underlying the concept of the origin of thermal flares on the Sun which generate X-rays in the 1-8 A range with a power not above 10~ Вт/м. An analysis of the data amassed for the 0.5.07.2009 flare provides convincing support for the concept proposed.
