A simulation of methane transfer in the atmosphere and an estimation  of its detonation opportunity when jettisoning pressure in the gas pipeline

A mathematical model describing a mechanism of air-methane clouds forming in the atmosphere has been suggested. Minimum intensity of methane ejection from gas pipeline emergency valve that makes explosion enable at a height of over 500 m was estimated. This estimation confirms possibility of space explosion as a result of air-methane mixture ignition by lightning or other sources of high temperature.
