      <abstract xml:lang="en">
        <p>The physical model of bainite transformation in low-carbon steels is developed. The model enables prediction of the bainite kinetics and structure parameters, in particular, the volume fraction of lath bainite and the bainite block size. Calibration and testing of the model were carried out using scanning electron microscopy with the Electron Back-Scatter Diffraction technique (EBSD).</p>
